Here at UpriseFestival we care about watching new businesses thrive, that doesn’t matter if they are online or offline ventures. This passion stems from deep inside us all here and the fact that the team have built out their own projects makes you realise that what you are reading is from the heart.

When it comes to entrepreneurship, women are about on par with men when it comes to self-employment. Which raises the question: are we still being put off by a group of socially dysfunctional males? The short answer is no, not really. In fact, the more I think about this subject, the more I’m convinced that there are no barriers to entrepreneurship that women are immune to.

To us, it doesn’t matter which gender you are as a business person, we all come from different walks of life and want everyone to have the same opportunities as one another.

We are a small team that find new markets, industries and general exciting business news that will get your brain churning on what new projects to start to work on. Currently only 3 people working part time on UpriseFestival, we are all located around the globe, I (Martin) am based in the sunny south of Spain, Jeremy is based in Denmark after moving there from Scotland just last year and finally, Melanie is writing and editing from a sunny beach somewhere in Thailand. She doesn’t like to use the term digital nomad but that is essentially what she is.

If you are looking to get in touch with us, you can do so at contact(at)uprisefestival(.)co, we will get back to you as quickly as possible, generally this will be between 1 and 3 working days, so please be patient with us. From all of us here at UpriseFestival we hope you enjoy reading our posts.
