I have two decades of product experience working with over 300 teams on 3 continents. I have been consulting since 2010, and I co-founded a seed-stage venture capital fund, String Ventures in 2014.
I invested in 12 technology startups in San Francisco, Berlin and Istanbul. In these cities I am connected to top technical universities through teaching, speaking and consulting engagements.
I previously ran product at QRM over a decade in Chicago. That’s where I started teaching design thinking, agile, and lean seminars. Since then I’ve developed my own tools, and trained engineers and scientist from top technical schools. I can count MIT, University of Chicago, Stanford, Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, IITB, Tsinghua University, and University of Oslo. The hands-on workshop model of training engineering-heavy product teams on the job delivers a huge return.
Few products that started at idea stage in my seminars have been featured in WSJ, Wired, CNN, Bloomberg, MIT Technology Review, TechCrunch, Vogue, and CB Insights.
I work with partners, associates and practitioners. All of them are well-tested, and many of them are well-known trainer/authors in design thinking, lean and agile communities.
